The Peregrine Fund will host two special screenings (in Boise and Ketchum) of the new documentary The American Southwest. Screenings will be followed by a Q&A with writer/director Ben Masters and Tim Hauck, our California Condor Program Director.
The American Southwest is a wild and unforgettable journey down the Colorado River that explores the region’s extraordinary wildlife, cultural history, and uncertain future. The story travels through legendary landscapes from the viewpoint of some of the Southwest’s most engaging characters, such as wetland-building beavers, bugling bull elk, desert-adapted rattlesnakes, and a nail-biting segment of a young California Condor’s first attempt at flight, as it fledges from its nest high on the canyon wall above the Colorado River.
All proceeds from the screenings go directly to support The Peregrine Fund’s California Condor Program. Please join us for one of these exciting screenings!
