LED “LOOK MOM” PERFORMANCE – MARCH 13-21ST

LED premieres “Look Mom!” at The Dixon

GARDEN CITY, Idaho (Feb. 18, 2026) — LED will present Look Mom! March 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, and 21 at The Dixon in Garden City. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m.Directed by Artistic Director and Founder Lauren Edson and Creative Director and Founder Andrew Stensaas, “Look Mom!” explores themes of risk, visibility, and the desire to be witnessed. The work reflects on the impulse behind the phrase “look mom” — moments of effort, achievement, and vulnerability — and how those experiences shift when shared.

Developed for The Dixon, the production engages the architecture of the venue as part of its staging and audience configuration. The performance includes LED artistic collaborators from across the United States and continues the company’s emphasis on original choreography and interdisciplinary design.

“While all of our creations are personal, this one feels especially so,” Edson says. “The title comes from watching our children run in calling, ‘Look, Mom!’ or ‘Look, Dad!’ It’s both a plea and an invitation — a desire to be seen and to share a moment of presence. We often wonder if our own path to the stage began with that same early call to be witnessed.”

“Look Mom!” is presented as part of LED’s 2025-26 inaugural season at The Dixon.
