Partners with Huntington’s Disease Society of America
TEAM HOPE WALK
Saturday, September 14, 2019 from noon until 2pm at Kleiner Park in Meridian, Helping Idaho Dogs, Inc. is proud to be involved with the Team Hope Walk. Find out details about the event at www.hdsa.org/thwboise.
Walk with us as we support the mission of HDSA (Huntington’s Disease Society of America) to improve the lives of everyone impacted by this disease. Team Hope is HDSA’s largest national grassroots fundraising event. Huntington’s disease is a fatal genetic disorder that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. It deteriorates a person’s physical and mental abilities usually during their prime working years and has no cure.
Helping Idaho Dog, Inc. supports our community through our volunteer therapy dog teams (Healing Paws program) and our Humane Education program, which presents Dog Safety and Dog Body Language training to k-4th grade students. We also take part in events with other non-profits and work towards helping to enrich our community.
Visit our booth to meet our volunteers and our wonderful therapy dog who will brighten your day with their wagging tails and smiling faces at this community event.
