Event: Spring Fling Community Fair at Family Advocates
Date: Saturday, May 30
Location: Family Advocates Upper Parking Lot
Time: 10am-2pm
The Spring Fling Family Fair is a high-energy community celebration hosted by Family Advocates at the Darcy Hoellwarth Family Resiliency Center. On Saturday, May 30, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we are transforming our parking lot at 9777 W. Chinden Blvd into a “Pollinator Path” designed to connect families with vital resources while having a blast.
What to Expect
Admission: This event is completely FREE for all families.
Free Lunch: We are providing a free lunch for the first 250 people (food truck to be announced soon!).
Family Activities: The day is packed with hands-on fun, including a fast pitch trailer, face painting, and interactive booths.
Prizes: We will be holding an opportunity drawing every 30 minutes throughout the event, giving families plenty of chances to take home some great prizes.
Our Community Partners Families can engage with an incredible lineup of local partners in our “Pollinator Path,” including Horizon Credit Union, Hand in Hand Family Mentoring, and the GoTeam Therapy Dogs, among many others. Each partner will be providing information on essential services alongside kid-friendly activities.
Hosted by Family Advocates, this fair highlights the work of the Darcy Hoellwarth Family Resiliency Center, a hub dedicated to strengthening families and building resilience across the Treasure Valley. It’s a day to celebrate our community, learn about local support services, and enjoy a Saturday out with the whole family!
