Celebrate Black History Month with Beats, Brushes & Black History at the Erma Hayman House!
Join us on February 6 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Erma Hayman House for an immersive experience exploring 100 years of African American music—from blues and jazz to Motown, hip-hop, and contemporary Black artists—while creating your own music-inspired artwork.
This welcoming, hands-on event honors the powerful influence of Black artists on story and sound. No painting experience is needed; all supplies, food, and refreshments are provided.
