ED SHEERAN AT THE RECORD EXCHANGE
Yes, this really happened. Imagine a time when no one knew who Ed Sheeran was. He was known in the U.K., but his record label worked out an in-store performance for the artist at The Record Exchange.
It was this performance that got us all to raise the bar on in-store sessions. The Record exchange started sharing audio with me after this, and I told them how great it would have been to have audience microphones for this song. They have since invested greatly on p.a. and lights. This show was magic!
I remember approaching Ed Sheeran close enough to get a station I.D. His eyes showed some brilliance I will never forget.
He has since sold 38 million albums, and there seems no end to his fame.
Ed Sheeran has won multiple awards, done much collaborating, and has always done much charity work
We would love to see another live session in Boise when he is touring again, but this may have been a very lucky day for us!
