Liam St. John is a born and raised Spokane artist that now lives in Nashville. He dropped by for a session before his show at Neurolux.
The first song he did for us, is one he did with Houndmouth.
He’s really enjoying his songwriting and touring, and said, “ If my career ended tomorrow, it would be enough.”
This is a song that he did with Molly Tuttle, he noticed she had signed our artist wall. He says this song is about running away from your problems.
Liam talked about the first time he performed for a non-church choir. He said it changed everything. There was no judgment from himself or the audience, and he felt like he was levitating.
He has 2 degrees, and doing track and field took him to South Africa, doing the long and triple jump.
People in the Listener Lounge ate pizza from Flying Pie, and Liam treated everyone to having their name on the guest list at tonight’s show.
He said that this song made him realize that all of his songs on the album were connected. We hope he comes back soon, catch his show at Neurolux tonight!
