Late next week is when we normally see the first bites of frost on our yards and gardens in Boise. Tomatoes and other tender plants can be covered at night to extend the growing season. Once a hard freeze hits, usually towards the end of the month, it’s traditionally the end of the season.
Of course, since nothing seems normal this year, maybe frosty times will be delayed?
