Can You Smell This Photo?

It feels a little TMI to post this, but hey, it’s real-life. This is what my trash can looked like. Mysterious brown stuff that has that peculiar scent. Why is there duct tape in there? No idea. We keep our trash cart in the garage, so on really hot days, we get a whiff even when the top is closed. So when Ron with Fresh Bin Cleaning offered to make the “gross” disappear, I said “yes!”

The service is curbside, scheduled on the day after your trash/recycling/compost cart service. It’s like a giant dishwasher for your bins. And all that debris goes into the truck, not the gutter or your driveway. The process washes away 99.9% of bacteria and whatever else is in there. The cleaning can be done once a month, every two months, quarterly, or just once. $15 per month, add $7 for each additional bin. If you’re putting grass clippings into a compost cart, a regular cleaning is needed when it’s hot because the clippings liquefy into a sticky, stinky mess.

Service available in Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Garden City and Star.

After the bin is cleaned and dried, Ron spritzes it with trash bin perfume. Who knew there was such a thing? Here are the results.

All better. Call to schedule at 208-576-4662, or schedule online at www.freshbincleaning.com. I received a free cleaning so I could share the details with you. Maybe you have family or friends who could use this kind of help. Cleaning these awkward carts can be dangerous. True story: I fell INTO one a couple of years ago and got a mild concussion.
