Baby Owls Rescued

Three Western Screech owlets rescued when a tree was cut down, being cared for at the Ruth Melichar Bird Center in Boise.

Three of our new patients, these baby western screech owls. Please refrain from any tree trimming or cutting right now as many cavity nesting specifies, such as screech owls, are trying to peacefully raise their families. 🌳🦉 We are currently trying to locate other active nests to see if we can find a foster family for these three.
