Today, February 20th, has been proclaimed Idaho Potato Pizza Day. Firenza Pizza, on Main near 9th in Downtown Boise, collaborated with the Simplot Company to create the Spud Man pie.
Red skin potatoes, bacon, chives, sour cream, roasted garlic oil and sharp cheddar are on the ingredient list.
Serving begins at 11 this morning. A party with live music later tonight.
