Zoobilee 2019

Zoobilee 2019 at Zoo Boise raised thousands of dollars for zoo projects and conservation programs. Community generosity that helped make the new Gorongosa National park exhibit a reality, and the next ten years of projects are being decided soon. Scallop cones pictured above as the “welcome” to the event, along with visiting with an armadillo and Mr. Mac.

More of the food.

Food for animals, too. We got to witness feeding time for the Gorongosa exhibit Nile crocodile, Pandora. She likes chicken!

One of the pieces was done by a rat. Can you guess which one? [scroll down for the answer]

One of the tables for the live auction portion of the night. Ken and I emceed, while Kevin Troutt handled the auction duties.

These critters were right behind the stage. They chimed in. LOUDLY. Aren’t they cute?

Join us for Zoobilee next year, and keep this on your radar: Zoo Boise is hosting an Idaho wines event in June for the first time. We’ll pass along ticket sale info as soon as it’s available.
