Sun gold cherry tomato plants are more than six feet tall this week. Still, not a lot of tomatoes compared to previous years. Fingers still crossed the harvest season stretches into October. Basil plants were added to the garden bed in June. I will be clipping those this weekend for drying.
Here is the tomato plant on the left, in the purple cage, three months ago.
I started the plants from seed indoors in early April. I usually don’t put plants out when they’re so tiny, but this one told me it was ready on May 10th.
