What a busy day for music! Many friends were headed to Weezer and Hells Belles, plus the Joseph show. We took our session on the road to a sound check party and Meet & Greet with Joseph!.

The tour manager told me we couldn’t get an audio mix from the board, as we’d thought. I wish I’d known as I would have brought my realllly nice mic and gotten better audio. The good news, was that we were spoiled with a priceless acoustic performance. All goosebumps.
There’s nothing like hearing these impeccable harmonies just feet away from you. Somehow these ladies have gotten even better. The show looked close to sold out, and everyone connected with their fun and energy.
Opening for Joseph, was Haley Johnson. She pretty much raised the roof. Keep your eyes on this artist! She ended with “Crazy on You” from Heart, and people went nuts.
I ran from there to the Knitting Factory to grab some shots of the AC/DC tribute band Hells Belles. That’s how you know it’s spring. Adrian Connor spins around on the floor and eventually takes her shirt off!
