Pinball Machine Rescue Projects

A pinball friend rescued several machines that had been stored in a less-than-ideal location for decades. Who puts pinball machines in a barn? My daughter and I did some cleanup over the weekend. The first video is of a Zaccaria machine called Devil Riders.

The paint was still vibrant under the layers of dust and spiderwebs. We did not find any live spiders. This game was new in 1984 from an Italian company. A lot of work still has to be done before it lives again, but cleaning is the first step.

Not all the pinball machines rescued will live again. I’m doubtful about this one. Spoiler alert: mouse poop. OMG!

By the way, the machine is Darling, brand new back in 1973.
