After an unfortunate and unplanned thing I said on the air last year about “accepting the pickle” [lots of snickering happened], our boss was so impressed that he purchased a Mr. Pickle plush to add to the studio decor.
Now, I see that the pickle trend is spreading because a pickle has appeared in the studio right next to us – 100.3 the X.
It IS a bigger pickle and probably a more famous one. Everyone yell, “I’m Pickle Rick!!!!” Refer to the photo for size comparison.
We have four radio stations in our building, and so far, no pickles have been seen in the J105 or KHITS studios. It’s probably only a matter of time….
Oh, and I just found out that Mr. Pickle has a girlfriend. Meet Pinky Pickle.
