Ford cars used to be assembled in Boise

A Model T assembly line in a building near Fort Street? It’s part of Boise’s industrial history. The legacy will be explored and stories told thanks to a $30,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

BSU School of Public Service professor Jennifer Stevens will conduct the research and look into how industry was pushed out of town, and in many cases, all traces erased.
