Ice Cream Rescue

My family was in town over the weekend, so I took them to Delsa’s Ice Cream Shop on Ustick Road. It turned into an ice cream shop rescue situation.

A man from an assisted living center down the street was stranded. His scooter battery died. So my husband and brother-in-law pushed him home. He ate his ice cream along the way.

Some of the flavors available, plus more in the case. I can see why it was tempting to take a scooter trip for a treat.

OF COURSE, I had a huckleberry milkshake. It’s the end of the season for those, so I was lucky they had enough ice cream to make one. My mom had a scoop of sweet potato ice cream. She loved it.

Pretty sure we all know why this sign had to be posted. Ha.

Besides ice cream, Delsa’s has a full menu of real food. It’s a Boise treasure.
