Salsa Time!

Cherry tomatoes are ready to pick every day in the garden now. I grow two kinds. Sun gold and sweet 100. Most of them are used for salsa.

No need to measure when making a batch, just add ingredients “to taste.” I use a food processor for the first part of this recipe.

cherry tomatoes
sweet onion
Garlic – several cloves, minced
Fresh or jarred jalapenos
salt
cilantro

Process the onion, minced garlic and jalapenos by pulsing several times in the food processor. Add about a dozen cherry tomatoes and salt and pulse a few more times. Dump into a bowl. Slice and dice cherry tomatoes, and keep slicing and dicing and mixing them in. Adjust salt. Top off with chopped cilantro right before serving. *Cilantro is always optional*

Dinner is served. I consider this a complete meal.
