Treefort is like a Boise holiday. Bands come from all over the U.S. to play. Some bands you’ve never heard of, might be famous in years to come! It’s a great event for all ages, with food, beer, stories, film, and dozens of stages for music.
There are so many highlights this year. It is unbelievable that we had an appearance from Lizzo. So great to see her in Boise, and she got the crowd amped up!

Ashville, North Carolina artist Angel Olson put on an amazing set.
Seattle band Thunderpussy was Incredible! Many bands play more than one show at Treefort.
The Linen Building is where I found a great loop set from Seattle artist Sassy Black.
I grabbed a quick interview with The Kolars. This husband/wife duo is so much fun, and includes tap dancing on a drum while drumming! They have great energy.
Tall Tall Trees and Kishi Bashi put on a stellar set at The Record Exchange.
